In photographing bears for over 9 years in Central Florida, this was my first photo of black bears down in the Everglades. It may not be the best photo, but in a unique and seemingly hostile environment for bears, taking this photo adds a different perspective to the lives of Florida's black bears. Yes, little cub, that's poop you're sniffing!!
