Meet "Bruno", the alpha male of the Forest. For the last 3 years, I have been trying to get a photo of a Florida Black Bear standing amidst he palmetto scrub. On the foggy morning of Dec. 20, 2008, "Bruno" appeared, stood up (all 6+ feet of him) and with an innocent and endearing look, granted me my wish.
