I believe this is a Grasshopper Sparrow. The Florida Grasshopper Sparrow is a federally endangered bird and is one of the most endangered species in North America. There is a ongoing effort by FWC to help insure the future of this wonderful little brid. Many of us remember the extinction of the Dusky Seaside Sparrow 26 years ago and are pulling for this little guy.
