Meet Conehead. She is one of seventeen research bears from a collar study in the Wekiva Basin. She earned her name by repeatedly getting her collar off. We did a den visit in the Spring of 2015 and she had two cubs. Her collar is off now, but I believe I have seen her and her two cubs on game cameras in her home turf. Conehead, well, it turns out she’s a good mommy.
