I captured this photo of a coyote while sitting on the side a service road that borders the forest. He and another coyote came out from the adjacent property where gunfire had just been heard. This caused me some concern as I believe they may have been the intended targets, but felt relief when I saw them a little later further down the road. They appeared to have escaped the hunters this day.
